About DREAMSSS
From a childhood dream to a place where swimmers grow with confidence and a smile
Hi, I'm Hedvika Hajek
owner of DREAMSSS Swim School
Swimming has been part of my life forever. I was five when I first fell in love with the water. But that first jump wasn't fearless at all …
I still remember standing at an open-air swimming pool in Prague, tears in my eyes. My mum was already in the water. I was standing there, ready, but afraid to jump in. Then a man in the pool looked at me and said,

I took a breath, dived in… and the fear disappeared.
That moment stayed with me. It taught me how powerful kind words, encouragement, and trust can be, especially in the water. Sometimes, a smile, the right tone, or one simple sentence is enough to help someone believe in themselves.
Those values are at the heart of DREAMSSS today.
As a child, I swam in competitions and spent countless hours training in the pool. Even with daily training, sometimes two or three hours a day, I loved it. I still remember my little notebook with grades: at first a mix, later only fives, the highest score. Then came training plans, written seriously on paper: 2×200 breaststroke, 3×400 front crawl.
You either love it or you don't.
At a certain point, studying took priority and I stopped competing when I was 11. But true love doesn't disappear.
Swimming stayed with me through my studies, my work, my travels, and later, as a mother. There was always water, sometimes swimming, sometimes water polo, always that feeling of coming home.
Over time, I learned different techniques and began to understand biomechanics and movement more deeply. But what I learned most is this: the body and the mind are deeply connected.
A tense body sinks like a stone.
A relaxed body floats.
At some point, life took me in a different direction. Professionally, I moved from teaching languages into an office role, learning, growing, building a career, just like many of us do. From the outside, everything looked right.
Yet inside, something was missing.
I wanted to be more in the water and less behind a chair.
A swimming school where:
Because swimming is about joy, not fear
Some dreams don't disappear. They wait.
And one day, that childhood dream woke up again.
That's how DREAMSSS was born.
How I see swimming
I believe swimming is much more than a necessary life skill.
Swimming is:
A way to feel safe
A way to feel strong and healthy
A way to relax the body, calm the mind and connect to yourself
A way to discover and experience the world from the water side
My vision for DREAMSSS is to be a place where swimming stays with you for life.
Not as pressure or obligation, but as confidence, freedom, and trust in your own body.
Everything is connected. At DREAMSSS, we teach children to find balance, to move with the right technique, without harming the body, and to feel happy in the water.
I want to pass on the experience of feeling water as a friend. A supportive element that can calm our minds and recharge our bodies. We all know this feeling, perhaps even from before we can remember it.
Swimming can be practised at any age. It connects generations and builds memories.
And yes: swimming should also be fun.
Why DREAMSSS exists
DREAMSSS exists to support people, not just to teach technique. What I love most is seeing children and adults reach moments they once thought were impossible.
A smile changes everything. It helps people relax, feel safe, and enjoy learning. And when learning feels good, progress follows.
At DREAMSSS, everyone is welcome. Children, adults, beginners, and experienced swimmers alike. We create a calm, supportive space where children and adults can learn at their own pace and grow with confidence.

The 3P Method
Point
We point out what matters
Perceive
Help swimmers perceive how their body moves and feels
Practice
Practise calmly until movement becomes natural
We learn when to activate muscles, when to release them, and how to move efficiently. Without tension. Without force. And always with joy.
- We don't rush.
- We don't compare.
- We build confidence step by step.
Swimming through play
We speak a language children understand.
Have you ever imagined playing the piano underwater, hunting for treasure at the bottom of the pool, or swimming like a dolphin?
At DREAMSSS, learning often starts with play and imagination.
Because play builds trust, and trust builds progress.
When children feel safe and curious, learning flows naturally.
Growing together, every day
After each lesson, I take a moment to reflect:
This mindset, of learning, growing, and improving, is how DREAMSSS continues to evolve. The most meaningful feedback is when families leave smiling, talking enthusiastically about progress, and inspiring others to join us.
